CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER - BISON AUCTION

Approximately 39 Bison will be offered for auction. All animals will have been tested and/or vaccinated for Brucellosis, Tuberculosis, and will have received 8-way vaccinations. Health certificates will be issued at the sale.

Animals must be transported from the Genesee facility by 3 PM, March 15, 2013. Any truck or trailer used to haul animals must have an enclosed bed, including a top.

PLEASE NOTE TERMS!!! Cash or certified funds (a verifiable cashier’s check made payable to Schur Success Auction Services and pre-approved by the auction contractor at least 24 hours prior to the sale date). Personal or company checks accepted ONLY if accompanied by Irrevocable Letter of Credit from bank guaranteeing funds to a certain amount for this auction and pre-approved by the auction contractor at least 24 hours prior to the date of sale. Settlement in full required BY 2:00 PM on the day of sale.

Animals are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. The City may refuse any and all bids, and may conclude the sale at any time as being in the best interest of the City and County of Denver.

Location
The Genesee Bison Ranch can be reached from Denver by going west on I-70 to the Chief Hosa Exit (#253). At the top of exit ramp, turn left (south), cross the interstate toward Chief Hosa Campground, then take the left-hand fork at the “Y” and continue for approximately 3/4 mile to Genesee bison facility.
**If weather conditions require cancellation of the March 15 auction date, an alternate sale will be scheduled for March 22. Please call 720-865-0900 on March 14 for confirmation of the March 15 date if weather conditions are questionable, or call the morning of the sale if severe weather conditions should suddenly develop.
